ACCUS (Adaptive Cooperative Control in Urban (sub) Systems) is an ambitious Project meant to achieve a better sustainable management and to engage synergies in order to improve citizens’ quality of life.
A potential failure of critical infrastructures such as, pipelines, energy lines, transportation routes, etc., can occur at any point and at any unexpected moment across their extended grid spread over wide geographic areas.
TRIBE intends to promote energy efficiency awareness and guide users of public buildings towards a more rational use of energy. Moreover, the project aims to encourage the use of Information Communication Technologies (ICTs) with a view to achieving greater energy saving levels in this type of buildings.
DEWI (Dependable Embedded Wireless Infrastructure) envisions to signicantly foster Europe’s leading position in embedded wireless systems and smart (mobile) environments such as vehicles, railway cars, airplanes and buildings. These environments comprise wireless sensor networks and wireless applications for citizens and professional users.
