ACCIONA Engineering takes part in the ICEX Sustainability, Responsibility and Internationalization seminar

ACCIONA Engineering was one of the companies taking part in the seminar on sustainable development “Sustainability, Responsibility and Internationalization” organized in Madrid on 5 July by ICEX (the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade) with the support of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade. The event was attended by representatives from various Spanish and international companies.

During the seminar, speakers explained how sustainability can give companies a competitive edge when expanding internationally. Four Spanish companies, including ACCIONA, presented their working structure and different case studies.

Carolina Ferrandis, head of sustainable development and consultancy at ACCIONA Engineering, took part in the presentation “Corporate Commitment Experiences”, explaining how ACCIONA has integrated sustainability into its business model and the opportunities generated by this process. Coinciding with the launch of the “Business as unusual” campaign, she stressed ACCIONA’s position as a pioneering company and leader in driving change for a more sustainable world, finding profitability in sustainability and searching for solutions supported by the company's extraordinary technical and human capabilities.
