The Palacio Municipal de Congresos conference centre in Madrid was home to the event entitled “Rumbo 20.30” about the importance of sustainability, organised by the Conama Foundation from 26 to 29 November.
The aim of the 14th edition of the National Environment Congress was to promote discussion about how the ecological transition should occur, tackling the sustainability goals of the global agenda for 2020, 2030 and 2050, and studying Spain’s current situation and how these goals will be achieved.
ACCIONA Engineering had its own stand, showcasing the company’s different innovation projects, with special emphasis on the European sustainability projects that it is involved with: Nature4Cities, Remopaf, UrbanGreenUP, Smartencity,E2District, Clarity, Panoptis and Remourban.
ACCIONA Engineering also presented the LIFE REMoPaF and E2District projects in the Conama Conecta space, in the sections entitled “Biodiversity and Cultural Development Projects” and “Water, Energy and City Projects”, respectively.
More than 450 invited institutions, sponsors and collaborators helped to make Conama 2018 possible, exceeding all expectations.The large number of delegates, the high level of institutional and professional speakers, and the resulting media impact highlight the strength of an environment sector that is ready to lead the ecological transition that our country needs.
The congress has become a leading national event, improving the quality and scope of its content and participation every year.
