ACCIONA Construction was one of the companies invited to the event organised by the Enterprise Europe Network on advanced construction materials and nanotechnology, held on 15 and 16 May in Cambridge, UK.
The purpose of the event was to promote cooperative associations aimed at creating future consortiums to undertake collaborative R&D+i projects in national and European financed programmes, such as Horizon 2020.
On both days, large companies, SMEs, technology centres and research institutes had the opportunity to present their most innovative technologies to the public, as well as to establish professional contacts that will facilitate the search for new partners and business opportunities.
José Cubillo, a specialist in advanced materials from ACCIONA Construction, gave a presentation on advanced materials and nanotechnology in the construction industry.
B2B meetings, roundtable discussions on exploring opportunities for the United Kingdom with Spanish cooperation, and budget drafting workshops were also organised, in addition to the presentations.
